Business and economic relations between Italy and Romania
 
      
Since 1997 Italy is the first commercial partner of Romania. According to the Romania trade department data, in the year 2004 the exchange achieved euro 8,528,7 with an increase equal to 7.7 % compared to the end of 2003. Till 12.31.2004 Italian exports towards Romania achieved euro 4,514,7 representing 17.18% of all Romanian imports.
